Palinspastic reconstruction of the relative position of the important Devonian sections in the north-east of the Pechora basin at the time of their formation was performed by structural methods. It is shown that the displacement of Preduralskii marginal basin’s sections relative to their position in the Devonian increases from west to east, but does not exceed 60 km. The displacement sections of the Polar Urals and Pai-Khoi is estimated to be 80-100 km.
The results of biostratigraphic and litologo-genetic researches in the basins of the rivers Kara and Silovoyaha in the southest Pai-Hoi have allowed to ascertain existence Devonian organic massif – a huge geological substance which thickness is about 1700 m and occupies the space not less than 400 km2. Features of its structure are revealed and the formation history is reconstructed.
The legends of the Polar Urals and Pay-Hoi map series were estimated for proving the mapped subdivisions due to geological survey in the scale 1:200000 conducted in Kara-Silovskaya area (on western slope of the Arctic Urals and the range Pay-Hoi). In the result it was found out that Eletskaya Structure-Formation Zone in Devon was divided into a great number of stratigraphic units, reflecting the lateral substance changes of the same age level. According to it all units are conventionally valid and there are same equal ones among them. The biohermal massifs are not distinguished as independent units.
Detail study of rocks outcropping in the Lyadgey-Yakha river basin was carried out within frame of the state geological mapping of the R-41-XXXVI sheet in the scale 1:200000 (Kara-Silovskaya area). The results have allowed to define the diagnostical signs for Khorotskaya, Kosvozhskaya, Nyan’vorginskaya, Vorgashorskaya, Kechpel’skaya series, as well as to improve the model of the area geological structure.
