The article is devoted to the urgent problem of modernization of customs information infrastructure, as a condition of formation of real actions, the implementation of which will determine the rapid adaptation of the economy to the functioning of the foreign economic complex in the WTO. Considered relevant and very urgent problem of motor transport flow regulation in major Russian cities. Particular attention is given to the use of logistic science instruments for the purpose of streamlining the transport situation in metropolitan areas.
