Role G.N.Kuznetsov and A.A.Borisov in the development of modeling technigues in mining geomechanics

Article preview

Model of G.N.Kuznetsov and A.A.Borisov for the similarity of processes in violation of the stability of nature and the model must respect the invariance of the relation between the strength of the medium and gravitational stresses.

Deformation-entropic criterion of rock strength and stability of mine workings

Article preview

The invariable deformation entropy criterion of rock strength and stability of mine workings has been stated. Critical entropy and critical rock deformation characterize the state of geomechanical system at the moment of its failure.

Энтропийный закон разрушения горных пород

Article preview

Сформулирован энтропийный закон разрушения горных пород, согласно которому удельная энергоемкость разрушения горных пород пропорциональна произведению структурной энтропии на прочность породы растяжению.

The role of scientific and technological progress in the development of the mining industry

Article preview

On the basis of the models of Acad. V.A. Trapeznikov analyzed the dependence of labor productivity on stock-armament, the dynamics of stock return, the dynamics of stock-armament and the scientific level of technology on the example of iron ore quarries. It is shown that the rate of scientific and technological progress is the main indicator of the perfection of enterprise management.

Energy model of processes during open-pit mining of ore and nonmetallic deposits

Article preview

On the basis of the system approach the energy model of processes at open-pit mining of ore and nonmetallic deposits is proposed. The specific energy intensity of the processes depends on the average size of a piece of rock mass after the explosion. The energy model allows minimizing the energy intensity of mineral extraction.

Determination of the time of steady state of a pit ledge on the basis of a thermodynamic model

Article preview

In the practice of open-pit mining, there are often situations in which the stable condition of a section of the ledge or pit wall must be maintained only for a certain, often very small period of time ...

Condition of limit state of a rock rock

Article preview

At explosion of powerful: charges of explosives in a massif zones of evaporation, melting, crushing and cracking are formed. The limiting state of a rock at evaporation and melting is characterized through entropy-characteristic, which does not depend on conditions of experience. Entropy of vaporization, melting are constants of proportionality in the relations between the energy of vaporization, melting of the rock and the boiling, melting temperature ...

Method of estimation of rock fracturing

Article preview

Usually rocks are fractured, so to judge the deformation of the rock during impact or explosion, it is necessary to be able to determine the wave resistance of fractured rocks. As a first approximation, let us assume that parallel cracks in the rock are combined into systems, in each of which the crack opening d and the distance between them a are constant. Let us assume that the rock is penetrated by three mutually perpendicular systems of cracks and that the cracks are filled with a substance with wave resistance. Let us denote the ratio of crack openness in each system (è = 1. 2, 3).
