IX All-Russian Occupational Safety Week

The IX All-Russian Occupational Safety Week will be held from September 10 to 13, 2024, in the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi. This decision was made at a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the IX All-Russian Occupational Safety Week in 2024 (VNOT-2024), which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova. The event was held in the Youth House at the Russia International Exhibition and Forum.

Representatives of the Russian Presidential Administration, the Russian Government, federal and regional ministries and departments, the Roscongress Foundation, as well as the FNPR and the RSPP also took part in the work of the organizing committee.

The main strategic theme of the VNOT 2024 business program will be the formation of a safe work culture.

"In his Address, the President named the personnel issue as one of two key risks that can play a decisive role in increasing the pace of economic growth and development in general. The answer to this challenge is in building a comprehensive personnel policy. The All-Russian Occupational Safety Week will become one of the key platforms for exchanging experience and developing solutions in personnel policy. Personnel conservation in the broadest sense of the word should become a unifying direction for the movement of social partners - the state, business, trade unions," emphasized the Head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov.

Traditionally, the VNOT-2024 will include a Youth Day with the participation of HR specialists from the largest enterprises, and the results of the professional excellence competition in the field of social services will be summed up. Satellite events of the VNOT-2024 will be held: in April in Rostov-on-Don and in July in Vladivostok.

In addition, an extensive international program is planned within the framework of the VNOT-2024. In connection with Russia's presidency in BRICS, a meeting of the BRICS Ministers of Labor and Employment will be held in Sochi. A meeting of the Advisory Council on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Population of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States will also be held on the sidelines of the VNOT.

"On the opening day of the All-Russian Occupational Safety Week, we will conduct a special tour for the BRICS Labor Ministers and demonstrate the VNOT-2024 exhibition exposition. Thus, the VNOT-2024 exhibitors will have the opportunity to show their developments literally at the international level. In addition, given the close intersection of our countries' labor markets, we plan to discuss the development of unified approaches in the field of labor protection during our joint work with colleagues from the Commonwealth of Independent States," noted Anton Kotyakov.

Please note that the organizer of the All-Russian Occupational Safety Week is the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, and the operator is the Roscongress Foundation. Last year, VNOT was held from September 26 to 29 in the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi. Official website of VNOT: rusafetyweek.com

The key topic of the plenary session in 2023 was the digitalization of labor protection. Traditionally, the VNOT platform hosted conferences, round tables, all-Russian industry seminars and meetings, and international meetings. In 2023, VNOT brought together more than 8 thousand participants from all regions of the Russian Federation, representatives of 30 countries and more than 200 companies, as well as 11 federal government bodies.
