On November 23-24, 2023, at the Congress Hall of the Gorny MFC, the representatives of research and educational institutions, design institutes, mine construction organizations and manufacturers of mining equipment delivered over 20 reports. The plenary session and three thematic round tables discussed issues of control shaft drilling, research of support parameters and rock mass, design, construction, creation, implementation and use of shaft boring equipment.
The conference was attended by representatives of more than 40 organizations from Russia and the Republic of Belarus, including Gipronickel Institute LLC, SPB-Giproshakht LLC, Sibgeoproekt LLC, VNIMI JSC, VIOGEM JSC, VNII Galurgii JSC, Thyssen Mining Construction East LLC, Trest Shakhtospetsstroy JSC, Soligorsk Institute for Resource Saving Problems with Pilot Production CJSC, Siblitmash LLC, as well as teachers and researchers from educational institutions of the Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University, Tula State University, National University of Science and Technology MISIS, and Perm National Research Polytechnic University. The conference partners who also actively participated: KANEKS Shakhtostroy LLC, Skuratovsky Experimental Plant LLC, CSR BMS LLC, and MIACOM SPb LLC.
The conference was organized for the first time, but found a tangible response and interest in the industry. Evidence of this was the participation in the conference of representatives of a wide range of mining companies. Among them: JSC Polyus Krasnoyarsk, AK Alrosa (PJSC), LLC Lovozersky GOK, LLC Russol, JSC MCC EuroChem, PJSC Uralkali and several others. Participants and guests of the conference noted the relevance of the event, exchanged business contacts, took an active part in the discussion on the design, construction and operation of mine shafts. A number of recommendations and proposals were formulated during the round tables, including a request for a regular conference "SHAFT SHAFT OF RUSSIA". The decisions of the conference, as well as a collection of papers on its results, are being prepared for publication.
