From August 31 to September 2, 2023, the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum - 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the Forum), dedicated to the 80th anniversary of oil production in the Republic of Tatarstan, and the International Exhibition "TatOilExpo" will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. During the event, it is planned to discuss topical issues on the development of the industry in modern realities, ensuring technological sovereignty, import substitution, and digitalization of the fuel and energy complex of Russia.
The Forum is held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on an annual basis and is an effective platform for the exchange of ideas, discussion of key industry issues by Russian specialists and scientists in the petrochemical industry, a point of attraction for modern technologies, a meeting place for industrial and business communities. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and ANO Kazan Expo organize the event.
The key event of the business program will be the plenary session of the International scientific and practical conference "Prospects for the development of oil and gas companies in Russia in modern conditions", which will be held with the participation of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov and the heads of the leading oil and gas chemical companies in the industry.
The Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum 2023 will traditionally host supplier days for key industry enterprises: PJSC Gazprom and PJSC Tatneft. Experts will talk about the resource needs of companies, criteria for selecting contractors, the specifics of preparing tender documentation, and opportunities for cooperation.
The Forum will also discuss issues of personnel and engineering support for enterprises of the Russian petrochemical complex, current issues of geodesy and information systems, metrological support for measuring the flow rate and quantity of liquids and gases, the development of small-tonnage chemistry, issues of industrial ecology and safety, the specifics of developing large fields at a late stage, and other topics important for the industry.
Specialized educational institutions will take part in the business program of the event, where they will present their higher and specialized education and professional training programs in the most popular areas of the industry.
As part of the Forum, one of the largest petrochemical exhibitions, TatOilExpo, will be held in the Kazan Expo IEC pavilion. Over 180 Russian and foreign exhibitors will present their companies' achievements on an area of over 10,000 m2. Manufacturers and suppliers of gas and oil equipment, oil corporations and holdings, oil and gas producing and refining, petrochemical enterprises will present the latest developments in the industry; a separate section of the exhibition will be presented by an exposition of heavy equipment and transport.
Within the framework of "TatOilExpo" dozens of business meetings, events, conferences, signing of cooperation agreements are planned. Industry experts, representatives of government bodies and the scientific community will share their experience. A highlight of the program of the International Exhibition "TatOilExpo" will be an industry competition for the best project or technical solution that promotes the development of promising equipment and technology developments and is aimed at stimulating young specialists to create an innovative product for the petrochemical complex.
Based on the results of an independent examination, the International Exhibition "TatOilExpo" was awarded the quality mark of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs - the highest assessment of the professional community.
