For the first time, the All-Russian Occupational Safety Week will host a photo exhibition of the "Faces of Labor" contest, organized by "Komsomolskaya Pravda". The main theme is a portrait of a working man. The main idea is to raise the prestige of the working profession and demonstrate its extreme importance for society.
For five years, starting in 2017, photographers from all over the country sent their works to the Komsomolskaya Pravda website during the specified period, and a competent jury selected the best of many amazing shots. The contest was also supported by the "Party of Business".
"For me personally as a person and a citizen, for the company I head, for the "Party of Business", this photo contest is of great importance," comments Konstantin Babkin, Chairman of the Federal Council of the All-Russian Political Party "Party of Business", President of Novoye Sodruzhestvo LLC and the Rosspetsmash Association, Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy. "The working man is our main value. The efforts of the state and society should be aimed at his well-being and development. Russia has no future without a creative man. No matter how rich the country is, if it does not have professional workers and respect in society for people working in heavy industry and agriculture, prosperity will not be achieved. We can be strong not only with our natural resources, but also with creative people."
This year, the exhibition is expanding its horizons and heading to Sochi for the All-Russian Occupational Safety Week. At the VNOT site, visitors will be able to see more than 50 works by authors who participated in different years. All of them are dedicated to working people.
Olesya Nosova, editor-in-chief, general director of the Komsomolskaya Pravda media group: “We were glad to initiate this movement. Komsomolskaya Pravda has always kept up with the times and been close to its readers. We are proud that we still maintain this connection, and we feel what people really need. The country is alive with the spirit of people who are not afraid of difficult professions or difficult times.”
