Geomodel and the Association of Geologists, Geophysicists and Engineers (AGGE) invite you to the Russian Oil and Gas Industry Energy Conference (ROEC) 2026.
The event will take place in Moscow on September 29–30, 2026.
ROEC is a multidisciplinary platform bringing together oil and gas exploration and production specialists, representatives of service companies, and experts in R&D and digital technologies. The conference program covers a wide range of topics—from exploration, prospecting, and technological solutions for developing hard-to-recover reserves to mature field development and digital transformation of the industry. As per tradition, ROEC will feature technical and plenary sessions, roundtables, and an exhibition.
In recent years, the oil and gas industry has been undergoing a period of large-scale transformation. Development of hard-to-recover reserves in low-permeability reservoirs and high-viscosity oils;
Construction of extended-reach wells and sidetrack drilling;
Import substitution of software and equipment for geosteering and well logging (GIS);
Geomechanical modeling during drilling and completion;
Managing complications in mechanized production — corrosion, sand production, and gas/water breakthroughs;
Application of machine learning and artificial intelligence for planning reservoir management activities and adapting hydrodynamic (reservoir simulation) models;
Development of mature fields and enhanced oil recovery methods at late stages, and many others!
