From October 13 to 16, 2026, under the auspices of the Scientific Council on Problems of Geology, Geophysics, Development and Processing of Hydrocarbons at the Earth Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) (Co‑Chairs of the Program Committee: A.N. Dmitrievsky, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Academician of the RAS; M.I. Epov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of the RAS; V.I. Bogoyavlensky, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the RAS; E.S. Zakirov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the RAS; I.M. Indrupsky, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the RAS), the IX All‑Russian Youth Scientific Conference with International Participation “Topical Issues of Oil and Gas” will be held.
The conference is designed to foster a productive exchange of ideas at the intersection of fundamental academic research and the industrial expertise of the oil and gas sector. Each year, the event brings together students, postgraduates, early-career researchers, and professionals from various regions of Russia and other countries. The conference program covers cutting-edge developments, best practices, successful projects, and innovative approaches in hydrocarbon exploration and production, as well as in the automation and digitalization of industrial processes.
