The Gas Forum will bring together the best industry experts in the city on the Neva.
From October 8 to 11, 2024, the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum – 2024 will be held in the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg. It is one of the main industry events in Russia and the world.
Over the years, SPIGF has become an authoritative expert platform on cooperation in the gas industry. The Forum agenda covers all aspects of the gas industry, including exploration and production, transportation and storage, processing and use of gas, as well as environmental safety and sustainable development. Important partnership agreements are concluded annually on the sidelines of SPIGF, which serve to launch and implement new large-scale projects.
The Forum participants include representatives of federal and regional government bodies; executives, chief engineers and technologists of Russian and international companies in the gas industry; representatives of leading Russian industrial companies, specialized associations and unions, as well as young specialists and students of specialized universities.
This year, the SPIGF-2024 business program will include more than 90 events - conferences, round tables, seminars and meetings. The technical areas of the program include design and construction in the gas industry, gas production and transportation, gas distribution and gas consumption, underground gas storage, natural gas processing products and technologies, gas chemistry. Industry-wide tracks will be devoted to cooperation between BRICS and SCO countries in the gas industry, sustainable development and technological sovereignty, import substitution and digital transformation, investment and financial instruments in the fuel and energy sector and other topical issues.
The main event of the Forum will be the Plenary Session "Gas Market 2024: Outlines of the New World Order", which will take place on October 10.
Traditionally, during the SPIGF, a Youth Day will be organized, where the heads of international oil and gas corporations will meet with talented students of specialized universities to discuss the prospects for the development of the gas industry.
The Expoforum territory is planned to host an exposition of technologies, equipment and services: International Specialized Exhibition "InGAS Stream 2024 - Innovations in the Gas Industry", Corporate Exhibition Exposition "Import Substitution in the Gas Industry", International Specialized Exhibition "Gas Motor Fuel", International Specialized Exhibition of the Gas Industry and Technical Equipment for the Gas Industry "ROS-GAS-EXPO", International Exhibition and Conference on Shipbuilding and Development of High-Tech Equipment for the Development of the Arctic and Continental Shelf OMR 2024.
An important part of the SPIGF exhibition program in 2024 will be a special exposition of companies from the People's Republic of China.
In 2023, more than 20,000 participants from 53 countries attended the Forum, the business program consisted of 90 events on various topics - from international cooperation and import substitution to labor safety and attracting young personnel to the gas industry. On an area of 48,000 square meters, 600 companies demonstrated their scientific and technical developments. Representatives of 200 media outlets covered the work of the Forum
