        <p>Предложена физическая модель формирования очага землетрясения как статически неустойчивой системы, имеющей несколько степеней свободы; рассмотрен механизм процесса и обоснована мате­матическая модель его описания, позволяющая выявить основные физические компоненты для космического мониторинга и прогнозирования землетрясений. Установлено, что перед реализацией ди­намического явления происходит раскачка объема пород (зоны очага) с распространением сверхниз­ких (период 3,5-4,5 ч) литосферных волн, по параметрам которых можно установить гипоцентр, магнитуду и время удара.</p>

        <p>A physical model of earthquake source formation as a statically unstable system with several degrees of freedom has been proposed; the mechanism of the process has been considered and a mathematical model of its description has been substantiated, which makes it possible to identify the main physical components for space monitoring and earthquake forecasting. It has been established that before realization of dynamic phenomenon there is rocking of rock volume (source zone) with propagation of ultra-low (period 3.5-4.5 h) lithospheric waves, which parameters can be used to determine hypocenter, magnitude and time of impact.</p>
