В условиях Крайнего Севера при выполнении работ ограничен диапазон использования средств индивидуальной защиты в связи с невозможностью их применения при температуре ниже –10 °С. Одним из перспективных направлений является создание рекуперативного тепловлагообменника, обеспечивающего аккумулирование выдыхаемого тепла и влаги для подогрева и увлажнения вдыхаемого холодного воздуха.
