Проведён компаративный анализ понятий модерн и постмодерн, даны различные интерпретации этих категорий. Продемонстрирована логика апологетов и критиков постмодерна. Указаны персоналии и доктрины, стоящие по разные стороны критики постмодерна. Обозначены основные проблемы постмодернистского дискурса.

The paper gives comparative analysis of terms «modern» and «postmodern» and the way it has been made by the founders of these theories. Apologetics and criticism of postmodernism is based on the contradictional points of view. The problems of postmodern discourse is defined hereinafter.
