Статья посвящена одной из проблем номинации в интернет-пространстве – проблеме никнеймов. Рассматривается понятие никнейма, приводятся различные мотивации людей при выборе того или иного виртуального имени и предлагается классификация этих имен.

The article is devoted to one of the problems of nomination in the internet (internet-space) – to the problem of nicknames. In the article the notion of nickname is under consideration. The article also tells about different motivations in choosing this or that virtual (internet) nickname and the classification of these names.
