Статья посвящена описанию содержания и структуры ассоциативно-вербального поля «отдых», определяющего значительный фрагмент русской языковой картины мира. Выявляется семантический объем лексемы «отдых» по данным различных толковых словарей русского языка, а также анализируется содержание соответствующего ассоциативно-вербального поля на основании «Русского ассоциативного словаря» (Ред. Ю.Н .Караулов. М ., 2002) и данных свободного ассоциативного эксперимента, проведенного в 2011-2012 гг. На основании полученных данных предлагается сегментация ассоциативно-вербального поля «отдых», учитывающая дифференциацию его пространственно-временных координат.

The paper presents a description of content and structure of the associative-verbal field «rest», representing a significant fragment of the world picture reflected in the Russian lan-guage. The present study brings out the semantic content of the lexeme «rest» on the basis of Russian glossaries. The content of the associative-verbal field «rest» is also analyzed on the basis of the «Russian associative dictionary» (Тhe editorship of U.N.Karaulov. Moscow, 2002) and on the basis of the free associative experiment, which was held in 2011-2012. According to the findings offers a segmentation of the associative-verbal field «rest» using differentiation on the basis of spatiotemporal features.
