        <p>Закон Матиссена и Фогта дозволяет сблизить два класса сплавов. Те и другие представляют смеси, первые – вещества, отвечающие по своим свойствам температуре наблюдения, вторые – вещества как бы нагретые до температуры более высокой, а потому имеющие свойства несколько иные, но могущие быть предсказанными, так как эта фиктивная более высокая температура определяет смысл и величину тех изменений, которые они могли претерпеть. Подтверждением сказанному может служить в известной степени влияние отжига на электропроводность сплавов, напр. прекрасно изученной пары серебра с медью. Сплавы до отжига обладают большим сопротивлением, находясь сначала в закаленном состоянии.</p>

      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The law of Matthiessen and Vogt makes it possible to bring together two classes of alloys. Both represent mixtures, the former are substances that correspond in their properties to the temperature of observation, the latter are substances that appear to have been heated to a higher temperature, and therefore possess somewhat different properties, yet these properties can be predicted, since this fictitious higher temperature determines the meaning and magnitude of the changes they may have undergone. This can be confirmed to a certain extent by the effect of annealing on the electrical conductivity of alloys, for example, the thoroughly studied pair of silver and copper. Before annealing, alloys exhibit greater resistance, being initially in the hardened state.</p>
