Чтобы проверить, насколько вычисления по выведенным мною в предыдущих заметках формулах согласуются с результатами опыта, я, но указанию проф. И. А. Тиме, применил эти формулы к данным опытов, произведенных над прокаткою листового железа на заводе Schulz, Knaudt и. С° в Эссене. Эти данные приведены в статье проф. Тиме: „Индикаторные опыты над прокаткой стальных рельсов и балок" (Горный Журнал, 1883 г.) и в статье Е. Blass’a: „Zur Theorie des Walzprocesses" (Stahl u. Eisen, 1882 r., № 7).

Thieme applied these formulas to the data of experiments carried out on the rolling of sheet iron at the Schulz, Knaudt, etc. plant. C° in Essen.
