Месторождение медных руд Липовского рудника (не работающегося) явилось результатом воздействия интрузивных масс сиенитовой магмы на толщи осадочных пород—известняков. Наряду с незначительным скоплением медных и железных руд, PbS и ZnS, в сфере контакта наблюдается ряд типичных контактно-метаморфических минералов—граната, авгита, диопсида, актинолита и др. и, как продукт пневматолиза—датолит.

Along with an insignificant accumulation of copper and iron ores, PbS and ZnS, in the contact area there is a number of typical contact-metamorphic minerals—garnet, augite, diopside, actinolite, etc., and, as a product of pneumatolysis, datolite.
