Нарымо-Бухтарминская впадина отделяет систему Южно-Алтай­ских хребтов от Горного и Рудного Алтая, Она представляет собой круп­ное депрессионное понижение четковидной формы, вытянутое в широт­ном направлении почти на 150 км при ширине от 1—2 до 10—12 км.

The Narymo-Bukhtarminskaya depression separates the system of South Altai ridges from the Mountain and Ore Altai. It is a large depression of a clear-cut shape, extending in latitudinal direction for almost 150 km with a width from 1-2 to 10-12 km.
