<p>The XXII Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, which set the majestic task of building a communist society within twenty years, went down in history as a congress that raised the banner of humanism high. The new Party Program adopted by it convincingly revealed before all mankind the inseparability of peace and communism. “To destroy wars, to establish eternal peace on earth,” it says, ”is the historical mission of communism."</p>
