После XXII съезда КПСС и принятия Программы КПСС социально- экономическая литература все больше уделяет внимания теоретическим вопросам, связанным с продвижением нашего общества к коммунизму. В ряду вопросов первостепенной важности находится вопрос о материально-технической базе коммунизма — выяснение содержания этой категории, отличие ее от понятия производительных сил, выяснение социально- экономических последствий, которые повлечет за собой создание материально-технической базы коммунизма. Особое значение приобретает вопрос об изменении структуры народного хозяйства и отдельных его отраслей, которое происходит в период развернутого строительства коммунизма.

After the XXII Congress of the CPSU and the adoption of the Program of the CPSU, socio‑economic literature is paying more and more attention to theoretical issues related to the progress of our society toward communism. Among the issues of paramount importance is the question of the material and technical base of communism – clarification of the content of this category, its difference from the concept of productive forces, clarification of the socio‑economic consequences that the creation of the material and technical base of communism will entail. Of particular importance is the question of the change in the structure of the national economy and its individual branches, which occurs during the period of full‑scale construction of communism.
