Как известно, гидравлический способ разработки обеспечивает ком­плексную механизацию труда и высокие технико-экономические показа­тели. Применительно к разработке россыпных месторождений одной из актуальных задач является определение расчетных параметров и совершен­ствование систем гидравлической добычи. Удельный расход воды на короткосезонных гидравликах с естествен­ным напором зависит как от естественных условий каждой конкретной россыпи (физико-механических свойств грунта, мощности и ширины рос­сыпи, уклона и характера плотика и др.), так и от факторов, относящихся к организации отработки россыпи (напора и количества воды, системы разработки, принятого оборудования, длины выемочного блока или наиболь­шего расстояния от забоя до шлюза, конструкции шлюзов).
