В сложной истории мезозойского магматизма и рудообразования Восточного Забайкалья наименее изучены самые поздние ее этапы, свя­занные с формированием многочисленных линейно вытянутых депрессий северо-восточного простирания. Они окаймлены крупными разломами и выполнены позднемезозойскими осадочными и вулканогенными поро­дами. Именно к депрессиям тяготеют районы наиболее сильного проявле­ния молодых тектонических движений и проявления наиболее поздних магматических образований. Соответственно с этим и самые поздние про­явления гидротермального оруденения в Восточном Забайкалье обнаружи­вают тесную пространственную связь с самими депрессиями, либо с окай­мляющими их системами разрывных нарушений (месторождения золота балейского типа, месторождения плавикового шпата, ферберит-антимо- нитовые руды типа Барун-Шивеи, рудопроявления антимонита, киновари, барита и т. п.). Подавляющее большинство, если не все эти рудопро­явления, относятся к типу низкотемпературных гидротермальных образо­ваний малых глубин. И источник этого оруденения, и возраст его до на­стоящего времени спорны. Однако в последние годы высказывается мнение о связи этого оруденения с нижнемеловыми вулканогенными комплексами. In the complex history of Mesozoic magmatism and ore formation in the Eastern Transbaikalia, the latest stages of the history, associated with the formation of numerous linearly elongated depressions of northeastern strike, are the least studied.
