Директивами XXV съезда КПСС по девятому пятилетнему плаву развития народного хозяйства СССР определены опережающие темпы развития алюминиевой промышленности. Ожидаемый прирост выпуска продукции в 1971-1975 гг. составит 50-60%, а производительность труда возрастет не менее чем на 40%. За истекшее пятилетие (1966-1970 гг.) производство алюминия в СССР возросло более чем на 50%.

The Directives of the 25th Congress of the CPSU on the ninth five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR set higher rates of development for the aluminum industry. The expected increase in output in 1971–1975 will be 50–60%, and labor productivity will rise by no less than 40%. Over the past five years (1966–1970), aluminum production in the USSR rose by more than 50%.
