Горная промышленность является трудоемкой отраслью. Это подтверждает доля затрат на заработную плату в себестоимости единицы продукции (45-60%). Производительность труда в горной промышленности определяется природными, техническими, организационными, психофизиологическими, экономическими и социальными факторами. В условиях научно-технической революции в связи с совершенствованием орудий труда и технологии работ важнейшую роль играют технические факторы.

The mining industry is a labor-intensive branch. This is confirmed by the share of wage costs in the cost per unit of production (45–60%). Labor productivity in the mining industry is determined by natural, technical, organizational, psychophysiological, economic and social factors. In the conditions of the scientific and technological revolution, in connection with the improvement of the means of labor and work technology, the most important role is played by technical factors.
