Вскрывая карь­ерное поле, нужно ориентироваться не только на быстрый ввод в эксплу­атацию рудника, но и на заложение разрезной траншеи в устойчивых породах, особенно на месторождениях со сложными инженерно-геоло­гическими условиями, т. е., принимая окончательное решение варианта, нужно, наряду с показателями режима вскрышных работ, производи­тельности рудника, развитием рудничных транспортных коммуникаций, учитывать и фактор устойчивости откосов и бортов.
