        <p>Известно, что на подавляющем большинстве рудников и шахт, рас­положенных в районах с суровым климатом, в зимнее время подогрева­ют часть атмосферного воздуха, подаваемого в подземные выработки для их проветривания. Для этого при стволах и штольнях, куда посту­пает вентиляционная струя, сооружают, как правило, паровые калори­ферные установки с многорядным расположением металлических пла­стинчатых калориферов; последовательное движение нагреваемого воз­духа в них обеспечивает необходимый перепад температур воздуха...</p>
