В угольных карьерах все большее распространение получает наиболее производительный способ бурения взрывных скважин, при котором горные породы разрушаются по принципу резания. Основной недостаток этого принципа состоит в быстром затуплении породоразрушающих инструментов.

In coal open pits, the most productive method of blast drilling, in which rocks are destroyed by the principle of cutting, is becoming more and more widespread. The main disadvantage of this principle is the rapid dulling of rock-destroying tools.
