Одним из новых, успешно развивающихся научных направлений инженерной геологии является инженерная геология месторождений полезных ископаемых. В область исследований этого направления входит широкий круг геологических вопросов и практических задач, возникающих при освоении различных месторождений полезных ископаемых: рудных, угольных, горнохимического сырья, строительных материалов и др.

One of the new, successfully developing scientific directions of engineering geology is engineering geology of mineral deposits.
