        <p>Линейные электродвигатели применимы в рудничной электровоз­ной откатке, внедрение их на монорельсовых дорогах является зна­чительным шагом вперед в техническом прогрессе транспорта. При этом достигается высокий к.п.д., большая мощность, приходящаяся на единицу веса, простота конструкции, что облегчает ремонт и уход в экс­плуатации, обеспечивается тяга на крутых подъемах, ликвидируется шум и вибрация при работе, отсутствует контакт между движущимися частями. ...</p>

This achieves high efficiency, high power per unit weight, simplicity of construction, which facilitates repair and maintenance in operation, provides traction on steep ascents, eliminates noise and vibration during operation, there is no contact between moving parts. ...</p>
