Кафанский горнопромышленный район, в пределах которого проводятся разведка и эксплуатация месторождений медно-молибденовых руд, наиболее полно изучен поисково-разведочными работами до глубины 300-400 м. Про­блема увеличения запасов руд в этом районе тесно связана с необходимостью повышения глубинности разведки. В связи с этим в 1971 г. в комплекс геолого-геофизических исследований были включены сейсмические методы разведки, основной задачей которых явилось получение сведений о глубин­ном строении структур, контролирующих медно-молибденовое оруденение. ...

The Kafan mining district, within the limits of which exploration and exploitation of copper-molybdenum ore deposits are carried out, is most fully explored by prospecting and exploration works to the depth of 300-400 meters. The problem of increasing ore reserves in this area is closely connected with the need to increase the depth of exploration.
