Верхнемеловые отложения юго-западного Крыма представляют зна­чительный интерес, поскольку во многих разрезах они имеют хорошую обнаженность и полно охарактеризованы разнообразной ископаемой фауной. The Upper Cretaceous sediments of southwestern Crimea are of considerable interest because in many sections they are well exposed and fully characterized by a variety of fossil fauna.
