Удельный вес горно-добывающей промышленности в стоимости валовой продукции невелик - около 8 %, что объясняется относительно низкими ценами на сырье. В то же время на горно-добывающие отрасли промышленности приходится примерно 30 % стоимости основных фондов и около 40 % капиталь­ных вложений.

The share of the mining industry in the value of gross output is small - about 8%, which is explained by relatively low prices for raw materials. At the same time, mining industries account for about 30% of the value of fixed assets and about 40% of capital investments.
