Представители рода Arctohungarites широко распространены в анизийских отложениях Бореальной палеобиогеографической области. Большинство известных видов происходит из северо-восточных райо­нов СССР и лишь один - из Северной Америки.

Representatives of the genus Arctohungarites are widely distributed in the Anisian sediments of the Boreal paleobiogeographic region. Most of the known species originate from the northeastern regions of the USSR and only one from North America.
