Предлагается модель геологического времени, представленная в виде системы винтовых линий, причем в каждой из них радиус цилиндрической поверхности и шаг определяются периодом цикличности. Показано, что спиральная структура геологического времени накладывает естест­венные ограничения на область применения принципа актуализма.

A model of geologic time is proposed, represented as a system of helical lines, and in each of them the radius of the cylindrical surface and the step are determined by the period of cyclicity. It is shown that the spiral structure of geologic time imposes natural limitations on the area of application of the actualism principle.
