Metallic scandium and its ligatures are widely used in various products of science-intensive technologies. Scandium is one of the rare and expensive metals, which necessitates the complex use of its intermediate products. The main types of wastes produced during the metallothermal production of crystalline scandium and its ligatures are considered. The regularities of scandium transition into solid and liquid phases of intermediate products during recycling are determined. Based on the obtained scandium-containing materials, Al - Mg - Sc ligatures have been synthesized, which allows to carry out the technological process in a closed cycle with minimal losses of valuable components.
