The possibilities of using the extreme control system as applied to the gas-turbine unit of a vertical converter are investigated. The control problem and the principles of formation of criterion are proposed. The algorithm of extremum search is substantiated. The estimation of its speed is given. The method of parameter selection is described. The effect from application of the extremum control system is estimated.
The control loop of the second-order object for the synthesis of optimal PI-regulator parameters, providing a minimum of the integral quadratic criterion, is investigated. A calculation method is proposed and the area of application is evaluated.
