Influence of drainage water injection in the lower carboniferous aquifer on stability of the protective aquiclude of the Yakovlevsky mine of the same-name deposit KMA (physical-chemical and biochemical aspects)

Drainage water formation of the Yakovlevsky mine (Yakovlevsky deposit, KMA) is considered, as well as the features of its discharge to soak away and thereto related ecological issues. Ways of drainage water treatment are presented. The particular focus is given to the project of its disposal in the high-head Lower Carboniferous aquifer using injection methods. Negative effects of this measure and nature of its impact on the water-protective layer, determining safety of mining operations, are stated.

Problems of engineering geology of Primorskiy district of Saint Petersburg associated with the prospects of its underground space development

The analysis of engineering and geological conditions of Primorskiy district of Saint Petersburg associated with the prospects of its areas development up to the year 2025. Its structural and tectonic conditions are represented. Results of microbiological analysis of soils from the section of Juntolovskiy reserve are given. The research of microbial flora of Lakchtinskoye swamp peats are carried out. The analysis of basic engineering and geological problems related with microbial activity is given. The main natural and technogenic sources of underground water and soils contamination are considered, and also some measures that provide longterm com-petence of constructions of different appointment are recommended.

Engineering-geological substantiation of safety building and operation constructions of different function within the lowland Predglintovaya (the Western part of the Leningrad region)

The analysis the characteristics and specificity the formation of Predglintovoy lowlands is carried out. The regularities of changes in the state and the strength of blue clay at the depth of cut, taking into account their degree of disintegration – layering and fracturing. The influence of macro- and microcracks in the blue clay zone predglintovoy on their strength and deformation ability is investigated. Basic provisions of engineering-geological analysis of the territory are developed. Recommendations to improve the safety and reliability estimates of blue clay as base of constructions of different function are offered.

Composition features of monazite and xenotime as a basis of partition of Verkhneurmiysky granite massif (Amur river region)

The main lines of monazite-(Ce) and xenotime-(Y) composition evolution were established in granitoids of the Verkhneurmiysky massif in Amur River region. It is suggested to use revealed features of accessory phosphates composition for a regional partition of granitoids and the assessment of intrusive massifs orepotential.

Crystal morphological and geochemical thermometry of zircons from Priamurie granites

In terms of current research, the methodological comparison of the evolutional crystal morphological analysis and the thermodynamic approach to the zircon thermometry was carried out. The complex application of the both methods is the most appropriate to assess the thermal evolution of the granites. The main features of the thermal evolution in granites of the Verkhneurmiysky massif were revealed. The obtained trends of the thermal evolution confirms the existing conception of the geological evolution of the Badzhalskaya volcanic zone.

Morphological and real singularities of El Monigote’s gold placer (Argentina)

This paper describes the results of a study of gold from placer El Monigote, located in central Argentina in the north-east of the province of San Luis. Gold from this placer deposit has weak roundness, lowpower, high-grade rims and a grade of gold (close to 700 ‰) in the center of the gold particles. This indicates a single gold source which is located in a few kilometers north-west of the placer deposit El Monigote, which is likely related to the volcanic belt.

Substantiation of the possibility of involvement in processing of the iron-containing tails with the subsequent clotting of the obtained concentrates

The tailings dumps of the ironore mining-reprocessing enterprises exert extremely negative influence on the environment, but at the same time, under the conditions of the impoverishment of iron ores they are potential raw source. In connection with this, a question of involvement in processing of the tails containing iron is extremely urgent. In the article the technology on processing of the waste of the beneficiation of iron ores is suggest. In this case the clotting of the obtained concentrates can be carry out by briquetting. In the work are also given the results of researches of the iron-containing tails concentrating and briquettability of the concentrates obtained of them.

Increase of efficiency of systems of protection of the equipment of oil pumping stations against the raised waves of pressure

We study the wave processes that occurred during the transport of oil by pipeline, the mathematical model and the results of computer simulations of shock wave pressure are given, that are confirmed by experiment. An alternative technology is based on analysis of the shortcomings of existing systems by offering to protect pumping stations of the pressure waves, which increases the efficiency of the system of oil pipelines.

Rock displacements in the vicinity of the face of the unsupported excavation

The relationship between displacements of the excavation contour and distance to the excavation face is obtained in the paper. The relationship allows to calculate support pressure with the account for delay of the support installation. Some calculation results of axial forces in the support are given. Regarding the question about structure and content of the associative-verbal field «rest»

The paper presents a description of content and structure of the associative-verbal field «rest», representing a significant fragment of the world picture reflected in the Russian lan-guage. The present study brings out the semantic content of the lexeme «rest» on the basis of Russian glossaries. The content of the associative-verbal field «rest» is also analyzed on the basis of the «Russian associative dictionary» (Тhe editorship of U.N.Karaulov. Moscow, 2002) and on the basis of the free associative experiment, which was held in 2011-2012. According to the findings offers a segmentation of the associative-verbal field «rest» using differentiation on the basis of spatiotemporal features.

Thermodynamics sorption of complex of cerium ions on the anion exchanger

Sorption isotherms was obtained in the form sulfate complex of cerium on the anion exchanger D-403 at a temperature of 298 K and pH = 2÷4 in the presence of various concentrations of magnesium sulfate. Thermodynamic description of the sorption isotherm sulfate complexes of cerium by the method, which based on linearization of the equations of the law of mass action modifed for the reaction of ion exchange. The values of the apparent constants of ion exchange and differential Gibbs energy calculated for the ions of Ce(SO 4 ) - 2 .

Cylindrical probe in anisotropic plasma: how can we achieve reliable results?

It has been demonstrated, that cylindrical probe in anisotropic plasma allows to measure only the even components of the electron velocity distribution expansion. For the first time the method for determining the odd moments of the distribution function by solving a system of ki-netic Boltzmann equations, connecting the even and odd moments ( f 0 , f 1 ); ( f 0 , f 1 , f 2 ) etc. has been developed. The method was tested in plasma of low-voltage beam discharge in helium. The experimental probe I- V traces for different orientations of a cylindrical probe with respect to the axis of symmetry of the plasma has been obtained. The moments of f 0 and f 2 has been cal-culated, f 1 moment is defined by solving the «vector» kinetic equation. The accuracy of f 1 calculation controlled by coincidence of calculated and measured values of discharge current. Theoretical and experimental values are in a good agreement.

Improvement of the technique of cadastral land valuation in the context of private housing construction taking into account an ecological state of the territory (on an example of Saint Petersburg)

The statistic analysis for the purpose of receiving the influence of significant factors on the cost of the land for individual housing construction in Saint Petersburg is made. The result model contains factors of transport accessibility, ecological factors and engineering infrastruc-ture factors. According to the results of regression analysis is calculated the value of hundred square meters of land in Levashovo village of Vyborg district of Saint Petersburg, are made suggestions for calculating the coefficients of differentiation.

Assessment of efficiency of the main transport of gas in the Comi republic

This article analyses key notion in the field of energy economy: (energy efficiency). The current state of the gas transportation system of LLC «Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta» were deter-mined. A calculation methodology of energy efficiency of long-distance gas transmission as a capital investment project was improved. An input method was used to calculate capital investments in fuel gas consumption reduction. Using a scoring system adopted in the world’s and na-tional practical experience, energy efficiency of gas–saving measures was calculated and sensitivity analysis of these measures was carried out taking into account the risks identified.

New effective grindind media fof drum ball mill

A new working media for drum mills has been tested, composed of spheroidal tetrahedrons. The experimental work took account of the influence of various technological and structural parameters and properties of the material being milled.  Experimental data show that under equal other conditions, grinding media composed of spheroidal tetrahedrons ensures higher technological performance in the milling process compared to grinding media composed of balls.

Diagnostics of the mirror-symmetrical plasma by probes of various geometry

This paper deals with the further development of the probe method for the investigation of the anisotropic plasma. The theoretical basis of the method for determining the full electron velocity distribution function in the mirror-symmetric plasma has been developed. For probes of different geometries the analytical expressions, which connects the second derivative of probe current with respect to the potential with the multipole moments of the electron velocity distribution function has been obtained.

Use of electric fields for the control of metal-dielectric structures

In this work a device for measurement at a constant voltage of the basic electric characteristics of high-resistance dielectric materials and products from them – their electric capacitance and resistance – is developed. The principle of work of the device is based on use of transients in connected in sereies elements having electric capacity and resistance. In the electric circuit of the device the mosfet with high entrance resistance is used. Possibilities of practical use of the device for measurement of surface electret potential, for rejection of potentially unreliable condensers, for diagnostics of corrosion of metal under a pro-tective dielectric covering are considered, etc.

The article analyses the results of an opinion survey of first-year students of the Chemistry and metallurgy department of the Mining University. The attention was concentrated on their reasons for entering the university, factors affecting their choice, academic activities and the studying conditions contentment, their views on future jobs and employment possibilities. Some recommendations for attracting attention of a greater number of potential applicants were given.

Experimentally the effect of adsorption and chemical properties of the metal filler (Al, Ni, Cu) on the value of the integral index of friction of lubrication tribosystem was studied. Surface-modified metal powders and experience of their implementation in units of transmission equipment oil companies

It’s experimentally proved innovative methods of nanometric regulation of surface properties of metals, fillers and lubricants, as well as the results of testing oil-based lubricants on I-20 with various solid additives (on Al-, Cu-, Fe- base) at the nodes of the transmission oil refining equipment. By improving the antifriction properties of lubricant service life is increased by 40-80 %.
