Digital core modeling is relevant while evaluating the geological reserves of oil .
The aim of the work is to formulate a concept for creating a technology for determining the filtration-capacitive properties of terrigenous reservoirs using mathematical modeling methods on a digital core model.
The paper presents the concepts of digital core modeling, allowing to conduct high-quality research to determine the filtration-capacitive properties of the reservoir by mathematical modeling methods, which includes modeling of pore space and filtering processes.
The developed concept of creating a technology for determining the filtration-capacitive properties of terrigenous reservoirs by mathematical modeling methods using a digital core model implies the use of a large amount of experimental data that can be obtained from the studied fields without using core material. Such data may include the results of geophysical studies, as well as the results of determining the particle size distribution of rocks, lithological and petrographic studies of thin sections and other studies that can be obtained from the sludge.
Because of the development of computer and nanotechnologies, as well as general trends in the digitalization of the oil and gas industry, solutions that provide adequate results for digital core models are of great importance and relevance for the industry. Especially important is the use of digital core models in studies of reservoir rocks from offshore fields in the western part of the russian Arctic, oil shales, reservoirs which are represented by loose and weakly cemented rocks and others, which are difficult for conducting physical experiments.
